Busy Bee...

Ruston Photo Other Busy Bee...

Well, I have Jessica's Bridals, 6 Family/Kids Sessions and a Senior to Blog! Audrey, Row & I enjoyed a wonderful trip to Mississippi to visit our dear friends and do a little trick or treating. Please don't laugh at these photos! I know they are awful, but it is all I have. I hope to get a little help one afternoon (Kelly Jo, please????) and get some cute pictures of the two of them together in their costumes. Handmade Halloween costumes by my sweet friend Terina. Visit her etsy store for magnificently crafted children's clothing.

Check out this video! My baby girl made NBC Nightly News!

Ruston Photo Wedding Jessica

Not only am I lucky enough to have Jessica as a bride, I hit the jackpot when she wanted to do bridal portraits, and just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we did it again! Thank you! I had a blast!

Ruston Photo Other One Word....

....Jackpot!

I spent this afternoon with the most gorgeous bride to be! I always enjoy meeting new people and the prospect of new friendships. Today was the perfect example of a great shoot. Jessica came over from Shreveport and graced me with her beauty. It is so much fun when you love your job! Thank you Jessica! I cannot wait for your Wedding Day!!!

Little Pumpkin

Ruston Photo Portraits Little Pumpkin

This handsome little fella is the nephew to my sweet friend & neighbor, Kelly. We hung out yesterday and took advantage of the cool afternoon. Just so you can get an idea of what this photo shoot included, we spent 30 minutes or so outside while my kids cried or ran around kicking cow poop in nice shoes. We shot these images in my yard and then by the little pond behind us that belongs to Kelly & her fiance Carey Paul. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next October. Kelly is so beautiful & it will be an honor to be the one to record those memories for them!

....and sunday at the lake

Ruston Photo Other ....and sunday at the lake

Our church is wonderful. It is full of beautiful people who are caring and thoughtful and most of all fun! We spent last Sunday at Family Day at Lake Claiborne State Park. Everyone pitched in and we grilled hot dogs and had a bunch of wonderful desserts and just enjoyed the cool afternoon and great company. The water was absolutely freezing, but Audrey did not mind. She was practicing holding her breath & dipping her mouth and nose under the water. Drew and I had to take turns staying right on top of her because she would crawl around in the water and fall off in a hole! I was a little nervous at first, but she never once got choked & we would grab an arm (or leg!) and yank her back up. She would be grinning & take off again. Row baby enjoyed his afternoon with Aunt Karen doing what Aunt Karen's do best. As always, Mama gets the clean up job! www.rockysprings1845.org Come visit
