My Life:
Let's see. I have a Handsome husband with the patience of Job. He made this blog for me. He helps around the house & plays with our sweet baby girl and handsome little boy. He is an Asterisk/Linux crazy programming fool! He is also cute! I adore my Drew Love.
I am also a mama to Audrey, born February 10,2007 and Rowan, born July 11, 2008. Audrey is AMAZING! I love the way she smells & smiles & runs with her arms stretched out behind her back. And Rowan is the most laid back baby I have ever seen. He eats, he smiles, he sleeps & he snuggles. He doesn't even mind if I just need a little baby love at 3 a.m. He is always ready!
I hate talking about myself & what photography is to me. I think it is the same to me as anyone else who really enjoys a beautiful picture of someone they love. Or an instant when you see yourself in print & think, "Man, I am looking good!" That is all I am here to do, Give you that opportunity. To me, taking pictures is fun. It is not really a job. I once had a 'Real Job'. I will tell you about that part instead. It will probably better describe me. You already know what photography is.
I graduated from Louisiana Tech in 2002 with a degree in Nursing & went to work in Monroe at St. Francis in their Level III NICU. I loved it! I loved learning & I loved loving those babies & watching them grow. Then I followed Drew to Mississippi & worked in Tupelo in NICU. I made some of the Best Friends of a lifetime there & I miss them all dearly. I quit working in the hospital because honestly, I was sick of it. I worked 7 12hour night shifts & was then off 7. It was exhausting. Drew & I were just going to take it easy for a while & spend the Summer in Europe & try to figure out what we wanted to be when we grew up. Then along came a little stick with 2 pink lines & before we knew it, Audrey was here, making life worthwhile. That is how I ended up in photography. All of life's little lessons were leading me here & until there is no way out, I am sticking to it!

My Babes...
... were awful when we went to take pictures in their Easter clothes. I have a few with Audrey because I was able to trick her into standing still with a balloon (thank you Jamie), but I only had one half decent photo of the 2 of them together. Poor Row didn't stand a chance by himself. It was so HOT! I guess that's what I get for trying to make pictures during nap time! I always tell parents that I work around their kids schedules, maybe I should have practiced what I had preached. I still think they are adorable!
